British Former Conservative Party Leader Urges To Declassify Intelligence Of CCP Virus’ Origins

On March 10th, former British Conservative Party leader, Sir Iain Duncan Smith urged the British government to declassify MI6’s intelligence about the CCP virus’ origins.

Smith said the government must open such intelligence to the public, to justify its initial dismissal of the lab leak theory. Since the CCP virus pandemic started in 2020, the British government continued to avoid commenting on questions about the deadly virus that may have escaped from a laboratory. All information about the CCP virus can only be gained from former health secretary Matt Hancock’s Pandemic Diaries book. They tried to avoid commenting on the lab leak theory. They must let the public see why they did so.

Last November, Hancock was ordered by British Cabinet Office to submit the manuscript of his Pandemic Diaries book for review. The book has been modified to avoid content commenting on the CCP virus coming from Wuhan Lab, and then it was signed off for publication. In fact, Hancock originally wrote in his book that it was too much of a coincidence to believe the pandemic started in a market not far from a CCP’s biological research facility. However, such comments disappeared in the book’s published version.

On the same day, March 10th, the US House of Representatives voted 419 to 0 for passing senator Josh Howley’s “COVID–19 Origin Act of 2023” bill. The Biden Administration can no longer prevent the intelligence department from declassifying information related to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and its correlation to the CCP virus’ origin.
