Australia’s Death Toll Surged By 11.6% in 2022

According to the data of death rates in Australia over the past 20 years, the annual change in the death rate in Australia usually does not exceed 1% or 2%. However, it was predicted that there would be 172,000 deaths in Australia in 2022, but the actual number was 11.6% higher than the expectation, with 192,000 deaths, 20,000 more than predicted.
