The Wall of a High-speed Railway Under Construction in Chongqing Collapsed, Killing Five People

Recently, major security accidents have occurred frequently in Communist China, following heavy casualties caused by the collapse of an open-pit coal mine in Inner Mongolia in central north China. On the 23rd, at least five people were killed when a wall collapsed at the site of the Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line high-speed railway in the east of Sichuan province. The news was blocked by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities and some reports disappeared from the Communist China Internet platforms.

It is understood that the high-speed rail line between two large cities officially started on November 28th last year with a construction period of five years.

On the 23rd, several media outlets quoted the Emergency Management Bureau of Shapingba District of Chongqing City saying that it was around 11 a.m, The wall of a project under construction on the Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line in Huilongba Town, Shapingba District, collapsed suddenly, killing five people. The emergency department has set up an investigation team and the cause of the accident is still unknown.
