Communist China is exporting small modules known as cellular IoT that can connect IoT devices using existing mobile networks to collect and transmit data, according to a report from the Washington-based consultancy Observe, Orient, Decide, Act (OODA). Also, the newspaper Daily Telegraph reported that such technology allows the Communist China regime to track any entity using the device, targets includes military intelligence agencies and other industrial espionage. Tools containing these devices include laptops, voice-controlled speakers, smart watches, smart home appliances, etc. Former British diplomat Charles Patton said that the world should wake up to the threats of this matter and take measures to ban IoT modules made in China from entering the supply chain.
