CCP Stops Updating Infection Data For Three Consecutive Days

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has not updated its daily infection data for three days, Bloomberg reported on January 12th. The true impact of the outbreak in Communist China has been concealed by the state media, adding to global concerns of another highly infectious variant.

It is believed that the CCP released its most recent report on Covid, also known as the CCP virus on Jan. 9, indicating approximately 14,000 new confirmed cases, an increase of over 1,100 cases from the day before, and a total of 7,557 severe cases. But these numbers have been considered meaningless since the authorities stopped providing testing.

The CCP hasn’t officially announced that they’ll stop releasing the relevant data. Last month health officials stated that after the CCP virus infection was downgraded to Class B, the authorities only provide monthly data, but they haven’t specified the date.

Due to the outbreak, many countries, including Japan and South Korea, have imposed new pandemic prevention measures for travelers coming from Communist China. On November 11th, the World Health Organization (WHO) once again urged the CCP government to disclose additional data, emphasizing the importance of sharing data on the virus strain’s transmission, and whether or not the pandemic situation is getting worse or improving in urban and rural areas.
