Worldwide Anti-CCP Demonstrations On Human Rights Day

On December 10, World Human Rights Day, demonstrations against CCP human rights violations took place in London, Istanbul, Toronto, and several cities in the United States. According to reports, hundreds of protesters, including Tibetans, Uighurs, and Hong Kongers, for the third week, protested outside the CCP Embassy in London on December 10. Unlike in previous years, Chinese students in the UK initiated the protest. The protesters carried white paper and placards saying “Step down CCP” and “Step down Xi Jinping.” On December 10, near the CCP Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, more than 100 Uyghurs protested against the Chinese government’s racial persecution of Uyghurs in Xinjiang. On the same day, demonstrations against the CCP, including Tibetans and Uyghurs, took place in Seattle and Portland, USA. Some demonstrators held white papers in response to the White Paper Movement in mainland China.

Also, on December 10, several ethnic groups gathered in front of Toronto’s Old City Hall, holding white paper and placards, waving their ethnic flags, and chanting “Take Down the CCP” and “Step Down CCP” in English. Many community representatives spoke and condemned the CCP’s tyranny, hoping that the international community would face up to the threat posed by the dictatorship and calling on the democratic society to unite and fight against totalitarian politics.
