Taiwan Prepares for CCP Invasion

Taiwan’s Democracy Index is the highest outside the West, and first in Asia. Unfortunately, the Taiwan’s Asian model of democracy is only recognized officially by very few countries. Regardless if the United Nations recognizes it or not, Taiwan is a country, with its own government, its own military, and a vibrant democracy. Tsai Ing-wen is Taiwan’s fourth freely elected President and one of Asia’s most progressive politicians. In ‘The Economist’s Democracy Index’, Taiwan ranks eighth, surpassing even Germany, while China comes in at 148th.

Taiwan has modern defense weapons and many reservists, and the country’s citizens also regularly practice for emergency situations. The Ukraine war showed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) what happens when a dictatorship invades a democracy. They will not be welcomed with open arms, but with massive resistance.

Taiwanese have long since formed their own Taiwanese identity, and the idea of being part of the CCP dictatorship is not an option.
