According to a statement by Trump, his residence in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach was raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The investigation was linked to 15 boxes of classified documents that Trump allegedly brought to his home in Mar-a-Lago upon leaving the White House.
Trump blasted the incident by saying “These are dark times for the nation and nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.” The dramatic enforcement scrutiny of Mr. Trump comes as he prepares for a possible further Presidential election in 2024.
Mr. Trump stated that such an assault could only occur in a third-world country, and America has become one of those countries. Trump even criticized Hillary Clinton on how the officials helped her to delete and acid wash 33,000 emails when she was the secretary of state.
Trump made clear in his statement that he stood against America’s bureaucratic corruption, restored power to the people, and truly delivered to the country, and will continue to fight for the American people.
