On June 20th early morning, Ukrainian troops launched a heavy attack against the Russian-occupied Zmiinyi Island in western Black Sea, causing dozens of explosions in the area. Russian military base went up in flames, and Russian force allegedly suffered a severe loss.
Ukraine military launched this attack, and fired rockets by the US – aided M142 High Mobility Multiple Launch Rocket System (HIMARS), many Russian soldiers have been killed. The rockets were fired towards Zmiinyi Island on June 20th at 4 a.m. and dozens of explosions were heard subsequently.
The U.S. stated that the “Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System” (GMLRS) aided to Ukraine, which was launched by the HIMARS, had approximately 70 kilometers of range, however, being equipped with precise GPS navigation system as well as military intelligence promised by the US, will be capable of pinpointing the target accurately.
