According to the news on June 15th, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on June 14th, that western countries should send more heavy weapons to Ukraine to fight against Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine.
After meeting the leaders of seven NATO members in Europe, Stoltenberg said at a news conference in The Hague, “Yes, Ukraine should have more heavy weapons.”
Stoltenberg said NATO was already “stepping up” arms deliveries to Ukraine. NATO officials will meet in Brussels on the 15th to coordinate further support to Ukraine, including heavy weapons.
