Apple Jumps to Global Top 100 Companies, TSMC comes in Top 10

A few days ago, the international accounting firm PWC released a report on the ranking of market capitalization of the top 100 companies globally, of which Apple topped the list with $2.85 trillion in market cap. The market capitalisation of the top 100 companies globally increased from $31 trillion to $35 trillion, an increase of nearly 10 per cent, from March 2020 to March 2021 as the report said. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) ranked 10th on the list.
The report showed Apple topped the list with $2.85 trillion in market cap, followed by Saudi Aramco with $2.31trillion from Saudi Arab, Alphabet- the parent company of Google-with $1.84 trillion, and Amazon with $1.66 trillion.
Tesla, Berkshire Hathaway, NVIDIA, Facebook’s parent company META and TSMC ranked sixth to tenth with market capitalization of $1.11 trillion, $780 billion, $685 billion, $605 billion and $541 billion, respectively.
