On March 9, the National Healthcare Security Administration of Communist China released a statistical express report on the Development of Medical Security for 2022.
The report stated that last year, the medical insurance fund paid a total of 4.3 billion yuan for nucleic acid testing fees to the authorized local nucleic acid tests and required medical visits. From 2021 to 2022, the total expense for CCP virus vaccine injections nationwide exceeded 150 billion yuan.
The report also indicates that as of the end of 2022, the population of participants in basic medical insurance was 1.3457 billion, a decrease of 17.27 million from the same period last year, a 1.3% decrease as calculated.
