Europe Should Shake Off Its Dependence On The Chinese Communist Party

On March 3rd, Rob Roos, a Dutch politician and current member of the European Parliament, said during an interview with the New Federation State of China(NFSC) that Europe should decouple from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in various aspects such as energy and economy, and strive for independence as much as possible.

Mr. Roos said that the CCP has been infiltrating Europe in an orderly manner, while Western countries have been kept in the dark. The CCP buys influence and makes the European people betray their own countries to enter the Chinese market, which is worrying. The CCP is expanding everywhere, with its Belt and Road initiative reaching Italy and the Balkans. Especially during the CCP-virus pandemic, many European companies have been in trouble, and the CCP has taken the opportunity to take control of them. Mr. Roos believes that a problem with the EU is that the 27 member states all have their own interests. The EU has launched a green energy agreement to invest in renewable energy and try to achieve energy independence. He hopes that Europe can achieve complete dependence on the CCP for raw materials. He states that Europeans are realizing the danger of depending on the CCP, and the situation is beginning to change.
