US, India, Japan, and Australia to Hold Quadrilateral Security Dialogue

The U.S. Secretary of state Antony J. Blinken will hold a Quadrilateral Security Dialogue with foreign misters of India, Japan, and Australia during the G20 conference in New Delhi, India, on March 3, according to media reports. The U.S. State Department official said that the foreign ministers of four countries will later participate in the Raisina Dialogue, an annual multilateral meeting devoted to geopolitics.

A senior U.S. official said the meeting is necessary amid high tensions between Communist China and America after the U.S. shot down the CCP spy balloons that flew over the State’s territory, as well as Secretary Blinken postponed his visit to China.

Before attending the G20 foreign ministers conference, Blinken would prior visit Central Asia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, expecting to strengthen relations with these countries. Commentators noted that the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue is not only a military alliance or an organization that targets any country or groups, but promotes activities in a free and open Indo-Pacific and upholds shared values.
