A Rising American Political Leader’s Report On CCP’s Infiltration Of The U.S. Department Of Justice

On February 17, the Epoch Times published an article by Karoline Leavitt, a rising American political star, titled “The Risk of CCP Influence on the DOJ for National Security and Legal System” in The Epoch Times. Through the incident of CCP’s attempted repatriation of Miles Guo, the author demonstrates the CCP’s aggressive tactics in infiltrating foreign governments and organizations, including the use of bribery, cyberattacks, and propaganda.

The Department of Justice (DOJ), the backbone of the judicial system of the U.S., is responsible for enforcing the law and ensuring the serving of the justice. The reason is related to the CCP’s political and economic infiltration of decades, however, recent years have revealed just how deep these infiltrative tactics can penetrate. A particularly noteworthy case is that in 2018, George Higginbotham, a senior congressional affairs specialist of the DOJ, pleaded guilty to his participation in an illegal scheme in 2017 by the CCP to illegally extradite Miles Guo from the U.S. to China.

Miles is a dissident and the number one enemy of the Chinese Communist Party. It is reported that this incident is just one of the concrete matters showing Communist China’s comprehensive penetration into America, which undoubtedly weakens the US intelligence agencies.
