U.S. FDA Proposes Yearly Dose Of COVID Vaccine

It was reported that U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has proposed to simplify the vaccination program, providing most adults and children with a yearly injection of the covid vaccine to prevent the outbreak of variant vectors. According to the relevant reports, Americans may no longer have to keep track of how many doses of the CCP virus vaccine they have received or how many months have passed since their last booster shot. Recently, vaccine booster shots have been administered by coercion. While more than 80% of the population in the United States has received at least one dose of the CCP virus vaccine, only 16% of the eligible people have received the latest booster approved last August. The FDA will ask the Panel of Experts on External Vaccines to comment on this proposal at its meeting on February 26.

According to documents released online, FDA scientists say that due to vaccination, infection, or both, most Americans have sufficient immunity against covid. With this level of protection as a foundation, it should be sufficient to shift the vaccine policy to annual booster shots of the latest mainstream strains, bringing the CCP virus vaccination efforts closer to the yearly flu vaccine. In addition, adults and young children with weakened immune systems need a combination of 2 doses of the CCP virus vaccine to obtain adequate protection. FDA scientists and the vaccine industry will study vaccination, infection rates, and other data to determine who should get 1 or 2 doses.
