Recognize and Be Grateful for the U.S. System

November 24th is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. On this particular day, Miles Guo urged fellow fighters to be grateful to God and grateful for the United States, especially for its democratic and electoral systems.

Meanwhile, we have to recognize that the United States follows a capitalist system. Sometimes, capital will erode democracy and the rule of law and we need to remember to be rational. Democracy and law have always been balanced.

The capitalist system is not perfect, but for now, it is the best, though not what we ultimately seek. We will never allow socialism, but we will not implement a 100% American capitalist system either. We need a modern system with modern media and a modern legal system, while respecting capital and protecting the inviolability of private property, media freedom, and freedom of speech which is the most important.

Americans must never cross the red line of the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of the press and freedom of speech, and any attempt to take away these rights would have unimaginable consequences.

Defending such rights requires action on our part, not just waiting for others to act or give them to us. When someone violates our rights, we must fight.
