Musk Seeks To Appease Advertisers, But Twitter Ad Loss Accelerates

According to foreign media reports on November 25th, Twitter is losing advertisers at an accelerated pace, and Musk may find it challenging to get those customers back in a short time. Two weeks after Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of the social media platform, a growing number of advertisers have suspended spending on Twitter, increasing the financial pressure on the company. Musk has been trying to alleviate advertisers’ concerns over the past week, but many still chose to leave the platform.

During this time of year, Twitter typically begins negotiating long-term contracts with its largest advertisers, which account for more than 30% of the company’s advertising revenue in America, according to sources familiar with Twitter’s financial situation.

Advertisers and ad buyers say many discussions haven’t even started or have been suspended because of the uncertainty surrounding the company and the chaotic situation of its ad sales department after the resignation of several senior executives. Since Twitter was acquired, the company has seen the successive departure of several top managers.
