Two Short-Range Ballistic Missiles Launched By North Korea Lands Outside Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone

On October 28th in Japan, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) revealed Pyongyang fired short-range ballistic missiles between 11:59 am and 12:18 pm from the Tongchon county in the eastern Kangwon province, which landed outside the Japanese exclusive economic zone. Tokyo, Washington, and Seoul authorities analyze the range and type of missiles. This launch was North Korea’s 25th ballistic missile launch since the 14th of this month and the 28th of this year.

Pyongyang has also repeatedly fired artillery shells into the Yellow Sea and the Sea of Japan, violating military agreements with Seoul. After seeing Xi Jinping deceive and detain former general secretary Hu Jintao in CCP’s 20th National Congress, Japan, the United States, and South Korea were all alert, believing North Korea might step up its military provocation and conduct a seventh nuclear test.

In response to the capability demonstration of the Axis of Evil, the South Korean military held large-scale, army-focused exercises from October 17th to 28th. They planned to conduct large-scale joint air drills from October 31st with the US air forces, which will mobilize the most advanced F-35B stealth fighter.
