The New Yorker’s Staff Writer Evan Osnos, a Former ‘Admirer’ of Hu Shuli

On October 18, The New Yorker, one of the favorite platforms among left-wing youths interested in literature, satire and critics, published an article of more than 10,000 words about Miles Guo, the leader of the Whistleblower Movement and founder of the New Federal State of China(NFSC). The article’s audiobook version published on other platforms also lasts more than an hour.

Since Miles Guo announced in 2017 to expose the kleptocrats of the Chinese Communist Party(CCP), such as HNA Group and Wang Qishan, and to terminate the CCP. Many Western mainstream media, which have been funded and infiltrated by the CCP for more than decades, have been spreading rumors and smearing Miles and NFSC, becoming the mouthpiece of the CCP, promoting CCP’s propaganda and performing as the CCP’s media weapons; including BBC, CNN, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, The New Yorker, Bloomberg, ABC from Australia, and even Al Jazeera from Qatar, etc.
As one of the “media weapons” of the CCP’s foreign publicity influencer, the New Yorker’s article on Oct 18 once again continued to smear and slander Miles, and distort the facts. But the content and words are similar to the narrative of Caixin, the Communist China media controlled by Wang Qishan’s lover, Hu Shuli. However, if you are interested in getting to know the author of this article, Evan Osnos, whose Chinese name is Ou Yiwen, it is not difficult to understand. As Miles has mentioned, Osnos has a “special relationship” with Hu Shuli.

Evan Osnos (Chinese name, Ou Yiwen) is a British-born American journalist who was born in a family of journalism. He graduated magna cum laude in 1998 from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in government. When he was a student at Harvard, he chose a class called “Chinese Politics After 1949” by Marauder, an expert on China issues.
