Pompeo Claims Top American Officials’ Close Ties With CCP Threatening National Security

According to media reports, the former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed in an interview with American media on October 16, that some senior officials of the American government were deeply connected to the CCP, thereby posing a threat to national security considering the Beijing’s efforts to contest global dominance. The US needs leaders at every level of government who will put their constituents first.

Pompeo recalled that over the last few decades Communist China has been attempting to become the world’s superpower and wage an economic war against the US. Beijing’s economic growth has always been depending on the exploitation of the American people, while cheating and forcing American companies to compete with CCP under fundamentally unfair conditions is the only way that its economy is able to expand.

Pompeo said that the CCP had imposed sanctions against him.
