CCP’s “Stability Maintenance” Expenses Exceed Defense Budget

On August 31, a video from G-Translators of the New Federal State of China (NFSC) showed that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spent $210 billion on maintaining internal stability in national security, which has more than doubled in 10 years and 7% higher than the defense budget of the same year.

The video cited information from multiple media, showing the CCP has been increasing control over society and Chinese citizens in recent years. With sufficient financial support, the CCP has become the country with the most cameras installed to monitor citizens’ daily behavior. By 2022, on average, every two people will be equipped with a surveillance camera. Under such close monitoring, the CCP authorities can record and mark the legitimate actions of citizens to prevent them from asserting their rights. For instance, Depositors were warned in red codes when they protested because their bank accounts had been frozen for no reason. In addition, when Shanghai was on lockdown, police were easy to locate any residents they wanted and take them to the quarantine camps, as well as in the current situation in Hong Kong where the police have summoned residents for their ties to voting organizations.

Because the CCP authorities spend more on dealing with its people than on the Defense Budget, does this mean that the CCP has made Chinese citizens its biggest enemy?
