In the grand live broadcast on August 12, Miles Guo analyzed the fundamental differences between the U.S.-Japan “Plaza Accord” and the potential agreement between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party(CCP). Miles pointed out that the United States will not sign a “Plaza Accord” with communist China, but instead one aimed at ending the CCP.
The “Plaza Accord” was designed to remove the vicious competition between the U.S. and Japan. In the end, both sides make concessions in favor of a partnership. The CCP’s attempt to challenge the United States on various fronts has inevitably plunged itself into the Thucydides Trap. The relationship between the United States and the CCP has turned into a life-and-death fight, and only one can survive. Therefore, it is impossible for the U.S. to establish a partnership with the CCP, much less to sign a “Plaza Accord” with it.
