Witnesses include the head of the National Institute of Microbiology, the chief executive officer of the relevant medical institution, and Ph.Ds of MIT Laboratory.
Gain-of-function research has historically been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This study is highly controversial in the medical community and poses a significant threat to public health. The NIH director Fauci, and the federal government will be held responsible for the illegal use of taxpayer funds if it is established that the results of experiments were concealed.
