FBI: Huawei Could Sabotage U.S. Nuclear Communication Infrastructure

It is reported that the FBI discovered communist Chinese Huawei equipment over rural Midwest cell towers could disrupt the U.S. Defense Department communications, including the messages from forces that oversee the nuclear weapons of the country.

Dozens of coverages revealed that an FBI investigation determined Huawei located its equipment on the top of the Midwest U.S. military base cell towers. The equipment are capable to disrupt the communications of U.S. Strategic Command.

Former and current FBI officials, spoke anonymously on this matter, that “this gets into some of the most sensitive things we do, it would impact our ability for essentially command and control with the nuclear triad,” the source continued, “if it is possible for that to be disrupted, then that is a very bad day.”

However, some media sources also suggested that it is hard to obtain proof of intercepting data and then send it to another country. Therefore, it is not certain if Communist China successfully collected any investigation results from Huawei’s equipment.

As per the news source, Beijing denied its efforts to spy on U.S. When the media reach out for Huawei for commentaries, this company refused to admit that its products could operate in the communication spectrum assigned to Defense Department.

The FBI investigation about the Huawei Equipment can be traced back to Obama administration.
