Enhancing Food Reserves for the Upcoming Crisis

The overall economic development trend of the world today is slowing down. In facing the Russian-Ukrainian war, separatism, debt crisis, economic stagflation, CCP virus pandemic, food security, risk of nuclear war and financial recession, human is not far away from self-destruction if human fail to realize and solve these issues together.

On May 19th, David Beasley, the Executive Director of the World Food Programme, said in a meeting of United Nations Security Council that there was 276 million people worldwide facing “acute famine” at the beginning of this year. According to the extrapolation and prediction, if the conflict in Ukraine continues, the amount of people who face hunger will increase by 47 million, and the largest increase number of people who face hunger will be in sub-Saharan Africa.

On July 6th, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, World Food Programme, World Health Organization and other organization indicated in The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2022 white paper, that the amount of hungry people was up to 828 million in 2021, which accounts for 10% of world population. This white paper showed that the mankind may face “the biggest food crisis since World War II”, and that as many as 1.7 billion people are exposed to food crisis, energy crisis and the collapse of financial system. World Food Programme warned in a few days ago that along with the development of wars, conflicts, extreme climate, economic shock and other phenomena, the world food security and malnutrition issue may be further aggravated.

Someone commented this phenomenon online that this may be an evil plan which tries to damage the food supply chain all around the world, achieving the goal of starving a part of people and then effectively controlling the survivals. Now, this warning has been verified by development trend and industry itself.

Mr. Miles Guo said in his live broadcast that as Sri Lanka went bankruptcy, at least 49 to 60 countries worldwide will go bankrupt one after another, contributing to the infinite enlargement of food crisis and being the flashpoint to all social uncertainties such as global economic crisis.
