CCP Once Again Imposes Lockdowns on Hong Kong and Macau

It was reported on July 11th that to comply with Macau’s regulations on the suspension of all non-essential industrial and commercial activities, Shunfeng (SF) Express will suspend the receipt and delivery of express mail to and from Macau from today to July 18th. The company stated that it will continue to closely monitor the development of the pandemic in Macau and make timely service adjustments and updates.

At the same time, the pandemic measures of 7-day centralized quarantine and medical observation, plus 3-day home monitoring, are implemented for all Macao arrivals.

Coupled with the impact of the pandemic regulations, over a dozen small satellite casinos in Macau have been closed, and hotel occupancy rates across Macau have dropped by 44%. Hotels, casinos, restaurants, spas, and other facilities were packaged and sold together, but no one cared and they had to declare closure.Gaming is Macau’s pillar industry. Since 2006, the total turnover of Macau casinos has surpassed that of Las Vegas in the United States to become the number one gambling city in the world. Driven by the gaming industry, Macau has also become a world-class tourism center. With the closure of major casinos and the decline of the gaming industry, the former prosperity of Macau has gone forever. The dictators of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) used the pandemic as an excuse to harm Macau and Hong Kong. Macau has lost its prosperity; Hong Kong, known as the Pearl of the Orient, is even more tragic, with many lives lost in the fight for freedom. Under the CCP’s tyranny, Hong Kong and Macau again are forced into lockdowns.
