Miles Guo Replaced the Original Legal Team

On July 9th, Miles Guo revealed that the bankruptcy case has now replaced the original team of lawyers and intends to initiate new motions. The new motions include the following main areas; removal of DOJ-appointed trustee agencies, including Luc A Despins, and the law firm of Paul Hastings, filing an appeal against the appointment of judicial trustee and appealing a bankruptcy dismissal in Connecticut. Mr. Miles Guo decided to report the case to the Department of Justice, Criminal FBI Division, and issuing subpoenas.

 One move worth noting here is that Mr. Miles Guo replaced his original team of lawyers. The trustee’s appointment letter expressly states that after consultation with counsel for the Commission, PAX, Wu Zheng, Ma Rui, and Meng Weisen, and counsel for the Debtors, Luc A Despins was appointed as trustee by order of the Trustee and taking into account the relevance of the interests. Court documents show that it is clear that Mr. Miles Guo’s legal team is an interested party in this case.

 The legal team representing Mr. Miles Guo in his bankruptcy case was Brown Rudnick (hereinafter referred to as BR), who had handled the divorce case between Jonny Depp and his ex-wife.

 Miles Guo had previously mentioned that the law firm’s entire building had been compromised by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), news that was unfavorable to BR Law. Regardless, the court documents state that BR was informed of the replacement of the trustee.

 Miles Guo repeatedly stressed that he must know the reason why this trustee was replaced, enacting his basic rights.  Miles also pointed out that the person in the case did not know that his trustee had been switched until he saw the court documents.
