Ukrainian Soldiers Are in the UK for Training

It was reported on July 7th that British Defense Minister Wallace revealed on July 6th that the first batch of Ukrainian soldiers had arrived for training in the UK. Wallace said in a statement that the training sessions were increased in size and frequency at the request of Ukraine. He expressed that the UK would continue to support the confrontation against Russia.

10,000 Ukrainian recruits will be trained in the use of weapons and basic rescue for several weeks, according to a statement released on the British Parliament’s website on the 5th.

British Prime Minister Johnson proposed the soldier training program to President Zelensky when he visited Ukraine mid-June.

Comments: The promise made by the British PM to President Zelensky when he visited Ukraine a few weeks ago has been fulfilled. During this Russian-Ukrainian war, the former British Empire was the first to stand up for Ukraine and aid Ukraine, which was awe-inspiring. Compared with the performance of EU countries, the UK has set an example for other countries. To fight against the powerful invasion, the European people have united again, also letting the British PM’s plummeting approval rating regain a round. It seems that the war will be fought for a long time. With 1.3 billion pounds of support, 3,000 “British” active on the Ukrainian front line, and the training of Ukrainian recruits, the UK has made a significant commitment this time.
