
Ukrainian officials said at least 21 people were killed on Friday when Russian missiles struck Odessa, a key port city in southern Ukraine, report has it on July 1st.
The Ukrainian military issued an emergency warning to Odessa residents early on Friday after hearing three loud explosions and directed them to seek shelter. A military spokesman said the missiles came from Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, and one of the rockets hit a nine-story building and another hit an entertainment complex. Additionally. 38 people were injured in the missile attack in a small village near southern Odessa.
Friday’s Russian missile attack on Odessa came shortly after the Ukrainian military celebrated reclaiming Snake Island, “This is an important change in the Black Sea,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said of Ukraine’s recapture of the Snake Island.
