
On June 25th, ahead of the G7 summit, sources quoted US officials as saying that G7 leaders were expected to discuss the Chinese Communist Party’s “coercive economic practices” during the meeting.
It was also stated that the leaders will also advance a world view based on freedom and openness – no coercion, no aggression and no spheres of influence. They will strengthen our cooperation on economic issues, cyberspace and quantum issues, particularly to address the challenges posed by the Chinese Communist Party, US officials said.
