Central Asian countries are indispensable to a “Global Hub” Blueprint

According to a report on June 22nd, South Korean Foreign Minister, Park Jin said that South Korean Government is very important to achieve the diplomatic blueprint of “global hub countries” and cooperate with Central Asian countries.

On the same day, South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin held a tea party with Ambassador Sharif Zorda of Tajikistan, Minister of the Embassy and Consulates of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Saidov, Ambassador Counsellor of Turkmenistan – Setemamedov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan – Ismailova, Ambassador of Kazakhstan – Dusenbayev and other ambassadors to Central Asia in the Rokk of Korea in the Hall of Government of Seoul.

Park Jin said at the tea party that the Central Asian region located between Europe and Asia, which was an extremely important strategic region, and the importance of its role was increasing in regional security, food security, supply chain, and strategic material supply. In the future, we will strive to build a mutually sustainable and win-win cooperation network between Korea and Central Asia.

In response, Kazakhstan’s ambassador Tosenbayev gladly replied that Central Asia has always played an important role in South Korea’s foreign policy. It is hoped that the South Korean new government will pay more attention to cooperate with Central Asia in the future.
