NATO: Russia-Ukraine War Could Last for Years

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview that no one knows how long the war will last, but we have to prepare for the fact that it could last for years.

We are very determined to support Ukraine, albeit at a high price, not only because of showing military support, but also because of rising energy and food prices. Having said that, these are nothing compared to the many lives that Ukrainians have lost every day. NATO allies are supporting Ukraine with funding, humanitarian aid and military equipment. In addition, the NATO summit has invited President Zelenskyy and will pass a comprehensive aid package for Ukraine to help fight for its survival against Putin’s brutal invasion.

The NATO secretary general said that the world is changing and NATO is also changing. The world has become more dangerous. He announced that under the new strategy, Russia won’t be considered anymore as a “partner,” but as a “threat” to our security, peace and stability. The document also mentioned Communist China for the first time because the rise of Communist China is a challenge to our interests, values and security.
