Bank Depositors Say Protests at the Bank Cancelled due to Health Code Turning Red by the CCP

Several bank depositors told Reuters that hundreds of bank depositors in the central part of the Country planned to hold protests to seek access to their frozen funds, but the protestors were frustrated because the authorities turned their health codes red.

Bank depositors from across the country planned to gather in Henan province this week to hold protests, because at least $178 million of their deposits were frozen for nearly two months, which has left companies unable to pay workers and individuals unable to access their savings. Comment:
