Recently, the Shanghai Municipal GovernmentConscription Office issued a notice for the annual military service law enforcement. It requires the law enforcement departments of military service at all levels to inspect citizens, juridical persons, and other organizations for the military service implementation before the end of July. Under the current prevention and control of the COVID-19 policy, community self-inspection (towns and townships), district general investigation, and random inspections organized by the municipality are on the implementation of military service laws and regulations.
The notice specifies that before July 10, the street (town, township) armed forces department, district government conscription office, and the relevant departments will conduct self-inspection and general investigation by juridical persons and other organizations in this region. The municipal government conscription office and the relevant departments will finish the inspections before the end of July.
The notice emphasizes the district government conscription office and the relevant departments to take a general investigation for the implementation of military service laws and regulations, higher education institutions in or registered in the region, their directly affiliated bureaus (companies), and the other enterprises operating in this region.
