The Indo-Pacific Region Could be in the Most Dangerous Period” : U.S. Military Commanders”

In a speech at the Asian Security Conference in Singapore, U.S. Commander Aquilino pointed out, that after World War II, this is probably the most dangerous period. Taking into account countries such as China, we have put forward the idea of working hard to ensure channels of dialogue to prevent accidental conflicts, he said.
The “Asian Security Conference” held in Singapore on the 10th, attended by members of the Defense Departments of Asia, Europe and the United States. On the 11, Commander Aquilino, the senior leader of the Indo-Pacific Army of the United States, spoke at the conference.
Commenting on the security environment in the Indo-Pacific, Commander Aquilino said: “The PRC’s (People’s Republic of China) destabilising actions throughout the Indo-Pacific include coercion, unsafe intercepts against our allies and partners, failure to respect agreements in the form of Hong Kong, border disputes as identified on the Indian border and the line of actual control, and lastly… a declaration of ‘no limits’ in the relationship between the PRC and the Russians.”
Aquilino said, in order not to fall into disputes and crises, discussions between all parties are very important. Considering countries like as Communist China, we strive to ensure channels for dialogue to prevent potential conflicts.
The “Asian Security Conference” ends on June 12, Chinese Communist Party’s Defense Minister Wei Fenghe and others will deliver speeches.
