Ukrainian Army Shot Down 11 Russian Air Targets in a Single Day

The Ukrainian Air Force Command said on the 15th that the Ukrainian Air Force and Air Defense Forces shot down 11 Russian air targets on that day.

The Kyiv Independent reported on May 15 that Ukrainian forces destroyed seven unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), two cruise missiles, one Ka-52 helicopter and one Mi-28 helicopter on that day.

The Ukrainian Air Force Command said the success of the air defense operations also prevented Russian troops from attempting to cross the Inhulets River. The Ukrainian Air Force Command also emphasized that the Ukrainian Air Force will continue to patrol Ukrainian airspace and carry out effective strikes on areas occupied by Russian troops, troop staging areas and supply bases.
