On May 17th, casino mogul Steve Wynn was sued by the U.S. Department of Justice on charges that he acted as a lobbyist for the Chinese Communist government in 2017, lobbying then-President Trump for a diplomatic favor that he cancels Miles Guo’s visa and use it to assist the Chinese Communist authorities in sending Miles back to Communist China, according to a report on GETTR.
Wynn reportedly did not register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), but he still acted at the request of the CCP government. He conveyed to the Trump administration the request to cancel Miles’s visa on behalf of Sun Lijun, the former vice minister of the CCP’s Ministry of Public Security and had numerous discussions with senior White House and National Security Council officials about arranging meetings with Sun Lijun and other CCP.
