On May 12, the frontline volunteer Nicole interviewed a French volunteer Mr. Lilian at Medyka Rescue Center. Mr. Lilian said the French rescue efforts in Medyka were made possible with the help of the New Federal State of China(NFSC) and the Rule of Law Foundation’s(ROLF) on-site rescue team.
In the Medyka Rescue Center, people call him “Jack Sparrow” for the pirate hat his daughter asked him to bring for Ukrainian boys. He said he brought only two carts of baby products with him when he first came to the base. And he was amazed when he saw that the rescue team from the NFSC and ROLF had helped nearly 20,000 refugees.
The “Jack Sparrow” said that with the help of the NFSC and ROLF rescue team, the French rescue team has done a lot to help women and children in the past ten weeks and was honored to be recognized by the French Ambassador to Poland. He is very grateful for the help given to him and his French rescue team by the NFSC.
