It’s reported that during a virtual panel discussion on Friday hosted by MetaHistory, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation said that Ukraine is aiming to become a top country in the world in terms of crypto legislation. The deputy minister further said that both President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the government fully support the plan to place Ukraine among the leading countries in the world.
MetaHistory is a collaboration project between the Ukrainian NFT community and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The Ukraine government shows great interest in NFTs currently, because one of the purposes of NFTs and the blockchain is to document history. The Ukraine official also opined that digital currency is especially important as Russia “tries to erase our history.” At present, NFT-museum has been established in Ukraine for citizens to buy NFT products with records of Russia’s invasion. What’s amazing was that the sale of an NFT of the Ukrainian flag reached $7 million.
