The people reported the problems they have been facing, such as unfair distribution of community supplies, unaffordable prices of daily vegetables, inability to repay mortgages without income, and local officials’ consistent perfunctoriness.
The district did not have a positive case, but the residents were required to take nucleic acid tests for eight consecutive days. The public questioned whether interests drove the local government. It was recently revealed that the director of the Beijing Health Care Commission and the medical group colluded and were arrested on suspicion of a major interest link. The official was left speechless in the face of sharp accusations.
