It was reported on April 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Ukrainian news media, that the world should prepare for the possible use of nuclear weapons by Russia on the 16th. He believed that the Russians could use any weapon, and he was convinced of it.
Ukraine needs anti-radiation medications and air-raid shelters now, and should not wait for the moment when Russia decides to use nuclear weapons before having a reaction.
The interview was relayed by six Ukrainian news sites, and has been broadcast by the Ukrainian presidential administration on Telegram.
